<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing hydrogen which is made small-sized and in which high efficient catalytic reaction is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing hydrogen comprises a reaction vessel provided with a groove part, a cap member arranged to seal the groove part of the reaction vessel, a raw material introducing port and a gas discharge port provided on the cap member, a raw material introducing pipe mounted to insert the tip part into the the reaction vessel from the raw material introducing port, a gas discharge pipe mounted to insert the tip part into the reaction vessel form the gas discharge port, a catalyst support layer arranged in the reaction vessel and a catalyst supported by the catalyst support layer. Each of the raw material introducing pipe and the gas discharge pipe has a cylindrical shape provided with a notched part at the tip part in the reaction vessel inserting side and is fixed to the cap member in a state that the tip part having the notched part is inserted into the reaction vessel to come into contact with the bottom of the reaction vessel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
