PURPOSE:To count the time required for the transmission/reception of a specific code form and to calculate the transmission delay time of a digital transmission line to be used based on the counted transmission/reception time when a commu nication terminal of an opposite party has or does not have a return function of a specific data form. CONSTITUTION:A system control part 29 is provided with a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, etc. The ROM stores the programs for the transmission/reception time counting processing, the transmission delay time calculation processing, the communication procedure switching processing, etc. The RAM is provided with a storage table which stores various types of communication function data when various types of communication control signals are transferred in a specific code form. Then the part 29 controls each part of an equipment based on the program stored in the ROM and carries out the transmission/reception time counting processing of a specific code form, the transmission delay time calculation processing, and the communication procedure switching processing to be performed based on the transmission delay time. |
