PURPOSE:To obtain a proper image density by changing electrostaic process conditions, when an image density is lowered or elevated in spite of the fact that a toner concentration is in almost a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A second CPU 60 controls an electrifier 41, a scanning optical system 54, and a developing bias circuit 62, to change the electrostatic process conditions, when the reflection density (image density) of a standard toner image, measured by an optical image density measuring means 61, is lowered or elevated than that of a prescribed level, in spite of the fact that the value of the toner concentration is almost a prescribed one, so that the sticking force of the toner in a two-component developer, to an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum 1, is changed to obtain the proper image density. |
