PURPOSE:To set desired magnification continuously by providing a numeral increase and decrease operating means which is operated externally and a control means which sets the operation mode of a copying machine so that a numeral set by said means is copy magnification. CONSTITUTION:Data for controlling copying operation is written in an RAM203 and shifted out of the ROM in a CPU and stored. Memories Q1-Q4 are provided corresponding to selection keys 100-103, and memories Q5-Q8 are provided corresponding to selection keys 95-98. The keys 95-98 are inputted with a ten-key when a key 99 for switching magnification setting modes and the numeral displayed on a display device 72 is stored in a corresponding memory. Keys 101-103 are used for setting specific copying magnification. Further, a magnification display key 110, magnification increase key 111, and magnification decrease key 112 are provided. A scan motor control 205 and a lens control 206 for magnification variation are controlled by the CPU2 to set desired copy magnification continuously. |
