A collapsible wheeled vehicle comprises a central main tubular frame 5, 8, 9, 10 having pivoted at 13 thereto, two rearwardly extending forks 14, each carrying a wheel 15 and a forwardly extending footboard 17 pivoted at 16 which rotatably carries a steering tube 20 mounting at its lower end 18 a steerable wheel 19, there being also pivotally mounted to the main frame at 23 a seat frame 23, the vehicle being collapsible to the position of Fig. 8 by means of rotating the seat frame 23 and forks 14 anti-clockwise and the footboard 17 clockwise with the steering tube 20 folding at pivot 21. Footboard 17 is pivotally connected to the main frame by pivoted levers 32, 33 and each fork 14 similarly connected by pivoted levers 27, 28. A pin 31 carried by the main frame has the upper ends of levers 28 pivoted to it and also fast with it a lever 47 pivoted connected via levers 44 and 43 with lever 33. Also seat frame 23 pivoted via levers 39, 40 and 38 to lever 28 so that on pivoting the frame 23 the interconnected levers cause the whole vehicle to collapse. The vehicle may be driven by a motor 51 connected with the rear wheels. |
