Metal shot is compacted in one pass to almost their complete theoretical density. Rolling is carried out at roll diameters of 300mm with a rolling force exceeding a strip width of 0.6 t/mm. Use of rolls with a larger diameter is indicated when a thicker rolled product is to be obtained with metal particles of the same size.
