New compounds of formula: (where R' = 1-4C alkyl; R2 = H or 1-4C alkyl, or, together with R3 may form a -(CH2)n- or -o-C6H4-CH2CH2- chain; R3 = H1 or benzyl or, together with R2 may form a -(CH2)n- or o-C6H4CH2CH2- chain; n = 3, 4 or 5 and X = Cl, Br, I, OH or NH2) are CNS active and have bacteriostatic and antimycotic activity. They may also be used as plant protection agents (nematocides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides) and plant-growth regulators. They are also intermediates for other plant-protection agents, pharmaceuticals, antioxidants and galvanisation accelerators. |
