PURPOSE:To obtain a thermally transferable image-receiving sheet capable of forming an image with high coloring density and superb clarity by providing a dye receptive layer containing a hexagonal system supermicroparticle ZnO and/or supermicroparticle TiO2 on the entire surface of a base sheet. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid for a dye image-receiving layer is prepared by adding polyolefine resin, polymer halogenide or polyester resin to a specified amount of hexagonal system super micro particle ZnO and/or super micro particle TiO2 and mold lubricant, and dissolving or dispersing this mixture in any appropriate solvent. This coating liquid is applied at lest, to one surface of a base sheet such as synthetic paper, high-quality paper, plastic film, and the coat is dried to form a dye receiving layer. Thus a thermally transferable image- receiving sheet is obtained. It is possible to provide a layer containing the hexagonal system super micro particle ZnO and/or the super micro particle TiO2 on the dye-receiving layer of the thermally transferable image-receiving sheet. In addition, it is also possible to provide an ultraviolet beam absorptive layer between the base sheet and the dye-receiving layer. |
