PURPOSE:To improve the discharge capacity, and lower the fraction defective of non-aqueous electrolyte battery. CONSTITUTION:In a non-aqueous electrolyte battery having a spiral electrode body 4, which consists of a positive electrode 1, a negative electrode 2 and a separator 3 interposed between the positive and the negative electrodes 1, 2, and the non-aqueous electrolyte and using the powder material as a positive electrode and/or a negative electrode, the maximum particle diameter of the powder material of the main component of at lest one of the electrodes is set at a value, which is 1.5 times of the film thickness of the separator 3 or less. Breakage of the separator 3 by the particles of the powder material is thereby prevented. |
