An overriding block is placed on the final movement of the empty bobbin as the full bobbin is depressed, through the yarn return mechanism which only allows the impulse to be transmitted to the change mechanism when the yarn is back in the start position. The purpose is to eliminate false alarms through contact between the empty bobbin and the yarn tension sensor which would initiate the yarn breakage shut-down procedure.
