Sliding mounting for bridges has an intermediate mounted layer of PTFE between metal upper and lower plates, and a sliding layer, firmly bonded to one of the metla plates, of pref. acetal resin, as a counter-sliding body for the PTFE layer, and attached to a pref. Al foil carrier, which is adhered to the metal plate.
