Siloxanes having the general formula and their preparation are substantially identical to those of the parent Specification, except that in the present Specification the subscripts a and b have different values, viz. a = 0.51 to 1.00, b = 1.12 to 1.90 and the sum a + b = 2.02 to to 2.41. Uses: as surface active agents in making emulsions of siloxanes with various aqueous materials; and as heat sensitizers for heatsensitive latices, as described in Specification 1,206,036. |
