[Also in Division F2] The punches of a tape or card perforator are lubricated by having the guide plate 8 formed of two plates 8a, 8b facing one another, at least one of the faces of the plates being ground to provide capillary passages in the guide plate. The two plates are firmly clamped together and the upper plate has at one end a bore which communicates with an oil reservoir which is preferably transparent and integral with the chad bin of the perforator.</p> |
