An electrolytic cell control method for enabling concentration of ionized water discharged to become further close to a concentration set up by a user by performing an applying step of varying an electric current applied to the electrolytic cell according to a difference between a set concentration and a discharged ionized water concentration and a flow amount of ionized water passing through an electrolytic cell is provided. An ionized water generator comprises: an electrolytic cell(120) for generating alkaline water and acidic water through electrolysis; a flow meter(180) for sensing a flow amount of ionized water passing through the electrolytic cell; a concentration sensing part for sensing concentration of discharged ionized water passing through the electrolytic cell; and a Micom(160) for applying the varied electric current to the electrolytic cell by varying an electric current according to a difference between an ionized water set concentration set by a user and the discharged ionized water and according to the flow amount. The ionized water generator further comprises: a supply water valve(190) for opening or closing a channel of a raw water inflow pipe connected to a filter part(110); a trans(140) for converting an AC power supply into a DC power supply; a field-effect transistor(140) by which the DC power supply outputted from the trans is connected to a drain and a source; and an indication part(170) for indicating the measured concentration or flow amount of the discharged ionized water. |
