PURPOSE:To control printing of a printer most properly for a system by monitoring transfer interval of a data to be transferred to the printer and dynamically setting termination decision time of a printing data in accordance with working condition of the printer. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotographic printer using continuous paper, transfer interval of a printing data from a host device is monitored. When the data transfer interval exceeds an average data transfer interval, driving of a photosensitive medium is controlled and conveyance of the continuous paper is controlled. |
