Centrifuge with acoustic radiator

摘要

Centrifuge for separating nonhomogeneous liquid mixtures, e.g. emulsions suspensions and hydrosols, comprises a rotor having mounted on its peripheral wall a ring-shaped acoustic radiator for increasing the efficiency of separation of the mixture. The density and high intensity of the ultrasonic energy from the radiator is uniform throughout the mixture and ensures uniform treatment of the mixture and efficient operation of the centrifuge.
