A refrigeration plant, operating with a thermocompressive cycle, uses a cooling liquid having a boiling point of -40 to +50 degrees (-30 to +40 degrees)C, esp. monofluorotrichloro-methane (CFC13). Specifically, air or another gas is directly cooled by the expansion of the cooling liquid. The plant is especially suitable for air conditioning of vehicles, ships or buildings. |
