The tractor transmission has a main gear box which feeds a group gear box directly, with the layshaft of the group gear box coupled to the input of the group box. The output of the group gear box is linked to a selective reversing gear, between the layshaft and the output shaft. - A crawling gear train can be coupled into the output by a separate layshaft. The system uses few components to generate a wide range of crawling ratios for high torque. |
