PURPOSE:To fusion-connect a pipe and a pipe coupling securely by fitting a ring made of a leaf spring whose tube part is formed in a conical form making the inner side of the coupling main body in a smaller diameter, to the end of the entrance side of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a pipe 8 is inserted to the inside of a coupling main body 1, the pipe 8 expands the small diameter part 9 at the tip of a ring 3 by its tip at first, and enters to the inside further from the ring 3, and then, it is put in to the coupling main body 1 while cutting the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 8 which is the surface to be connected, by the first edge 13 of the tip small diameter part 9 of the ring 3, following the movement in the inserting direction. And when the pipe 8 is once fitted to the coupling main body 1, the removal of the pipe 8 is blocked while the relative positions of the pipe 8 and the coupling main body 1 in the diameter direction is fixed, by biting-in of the second edge 14 of the tip small diameter part 9 of the ring 3 to the pipe 8, even though the pipe 8 is going to move in the direction of removal, and the pipe 8 cannot be removed from the coupling main body 1. |
