Textile reinforced conveyor belt - made by bonding prefabricated sheets onto reinforcing layer

Prefabricated sheets of a thermoplastic, in the cross-linked or pre-cross-linked condition, are applied onto the reinforcing layer, using pressure and heat to bond these facing sheets to the reinforcing layer. Prefd. material for the facing layers is polyester and/or polyether isocyanate. Used esp. for conveyor belts for mechanical components which are likely to cut or scratch the belt surface.
