To avoid the side slipping of shutter bars, the interlocking links have a rhomboidal safety link plate made from a stiff material, which fits into the slotted connecting joints in such a way that the safety link gives rigidity avoiding side slip, and on the other hand gives the elasticity required of a shutter. Pref. the rhomboidal safety link plate fits into the slit walls of the connecting joints so that one surface of the link is flush with the inner wall of the latter. |
