<p>The main tank has internal stirrers etc and separate feeds for liq. and raw material and an extractor for the mash which is of pumping consistency together with a partial recycling loop for part of the liquor. The raw material is fed into the upper end of a sloping archimedean screw pump, above the liq. level of the main tank, to a delivery end below that level, a cross pipe just below the level joining the two to form the recirculation loop. The screw is continuous.</p> |
