<p>The pressure relief valve with 3 way action is designed to attain a large rate of flow, even where the difference in pressure between source and user is small, by opening a large flow cross-section. The operating piston which in one end position connects the user with the pressure-medium source and in the other with a tank, has one face subjected to the user pressure, and its other face-subjected to a constant minor pressure which defines the user pressure. Pref. the valve chamber circumscribed by the face of the operating piston is connected through a throttle with the valve chamber of a servo valve.</p> |
