<p>Number of processing stations e.g. for forming boots, are arranged along a predetermined path, e.g. in a circle, and a mould transport system is arranged to inter mittenly move the moulds along the path between the stations, and to move the moulds vertically between a high, transport, level and a low, operative, level at each station is effect the appropirate operations on the mould. The stations include one in which the mould is filled with thermosetting plastics, one where a layer of gelled plastics is formed on the mould interior, one where the excess thermosetting material is removed, and one where the gelled layer is cured.</p> |
