<p>Isolators are operated by rotation of their shafts perpendicular to the front panel of a power switch cubicle with at least one busbar. The cubicle front panel can be moved in two end positions. Holes for isolator shafts are shaped so that in one position they block the shaft rotation, but permit it in the second position. Operation of the power switch push-button through a hole is only possible in the first position. A rotatable position indicator for the power switch is on the panel. When the power switch is on, it blocks the front panel in its first position, and when it is off, the panel can move to its second position. When a double busbar is provided, corresponding isolators have an additional interlock.</p> |
