PURPOSE:To record images by specifying respectively different density and recording concentration of images by each printer user. CONSTITUTION:Concentration is specified together with a setting ID as the value corresponding to IC by a panel 2201 or a host preliminarily to a printer and registered in a register section 2202. When an image forming signal is transmitted from the host, an specified ID specifying the concentration is also transmitted. The setting ID conforming to the specified ID is found by a printer controller 2128, and a signal specifying the concentration corresponding to the setting ID is transmitted to a printer control section 2127. A concentration specifying signal is transmitted to a high voltage control section 2130 by the printer control section, and the signal is D/A converted through a tone concentration correction section 201, and an image is formed in the concentration corresponding to the voltage and recorded. |
