PURPOSE:To automatically increase the engine rotational speed at the starting time to improve the starting characteristic by slightly rotating a throttle lever in linkage with the operation of a clutch release member. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch is mainpulated for starting, a clutch release member 7 operates against a force exerted by a return spring 10 to pull the inne wite 6a of a control wire 6. Accordingly, since a level 4 rotates, and a pressing member 4a presses a throttle valve 1 to rotate the same together with a support shaft 2, the throttle valve is opened. Therefore, the idling rotational speed increases at the former step in which an acceleration pedal is stepped, and a starting mode is assumed. On the other hand, when the device is switched from the stop mode to the idling operation mode, the above described member 7 operates reversely, and hence the above spring 10 is slackened. By these procedures, the rotational speed of the engine upon starting can be increased and the starting characteristic can be improved. |
