Subsequently, when a start switch 8 is turned on as soon as a vehicle starts, a CPU 4 operates a remaining running distance, a remaining running time, a mean car speed before that time, a necessary car speed thereafter, and time to spare/delay time in accordance with each output signal of a distance sensor 1 and a clock 2, said necessary running distance and said expected arrival time, and its result is displayed on a display part 7. In this way, a driver can set an optimum car speed for arriving at the expected time by considering road conditions thereafter, weather conditions, etc., and also can grasp whether he can take a rest or not. |
