PURPOSE:To obtain a corotron transfer device capable of surely performing a corotron transfer, even if the number of printing sheets is cumulated. CONSTITUTION:On a corotron wire 1, +1500V voltage is impressed in an initial state, but a MPU 6 checks the fact that the number of the printing sheets reaches the previously set normal number, for instance, 10,000 sheets, or not, and when the number of the printing sheets reaches the previously set normal number, +1600V is impressed to the corotron wire 1. On the other hand, when the number of the printing sheets reaches the next set normal number, for instance, 20,000 sheets, +1700V is impressed to the corotron wire 1. Thus, when the number of the printing sheets reaches the set normal number, the voltage impressed to the corotron wire is increased stepwise. |
