<p>PURPOSE:To allow a data terminal unit to start communications at the right time by correcting the time dislocation due to error in the oscillator of a clock circuit, not by setting again by hand but automatically on the basis of the time casting sound received through a telephone circuit. CONSTITUTION:A time cast receiving means 1 connected with a telephone circuit issues an automatic call to a time cast service and receives a time casting sound. A time casting sound sensing means 2 senses the specific one of the time casting sounds received. An error judging means 3 compares the current time signal given by a clock circuit 4 with the specific time casting sound obtained, determines the deviation, judges if the clock circuit 4 goes fast or slow, and conducts an appropriate correction to the clock circuit 4.</p> |
