The process is preferably used for separating a mixture of sesame seeds and sesame shells in a volume of liquid. It is provided to introduce the mixture into a volume of liquid which is supersaturated with a gas so that the process is water-saving. The shells, which rise in the volume of liquid together with the gas bubbles which separate out, are removed from the surface of the volume of liquid, and the seeds, which sink to the bottom, are removed. |
