PURPOSE:To perform smokeless and high efficient combustion, by a method wherein a stoker furnace is divided in the direction of a flow from a fire grate and the feed side, in order, into a thermal decomposition range, a cracked gas combustion and surface combustion range, a decomposed gas combustion and surface combustion range, and an ash cooling range, a wind box at the lower part of the stoker is partitioned into parts corresponding to the above ranges, and combustion is effected through regulation of an amount and distribution ratio of the air fed from each wind box, and an amount and a position of a secondary air fed to an upper combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Rubber waste matter 9 and the like, fed in a furnace with the aid of a feeder 2, receives a radiant heat from a combustion chamber 1 within a thermal decomposition range 4' to be thermally decomposed, and is decomposed into gas and a residual solid matter. Thereafter, diffusion combustion of decomposed gas and surface combustion of a residual soild matter are briskly effected in a decomposed gas and decomposed residue range 5' to effect combustion. After the combustion residue is cooled in an ash cooling range 6', it is fed to an ash discharge chute 7 to discharge it to the outside of the furnace. The decomposed gas s completely burnt in the combustion chamber 1, and the heat acts as a radiant heat in the thermal decomposition range 4' and the decomposed residue combustion range 5'. An amount and a distribution ratio of the air for combustion (primary air) from wind boxes 4, 5 and 6 at the lower part of a stoker are regulated, and an amount and a feed position of a secondary air to the upper combustion chamber 1 are also regulated. |
