<p>PURPOSE:To recover and reuse only oil on chips, by rotating an outer cylinder disposed therein with a feed screw, by means of a rotationally driving mechanism so that oil on chips are separated from the latter under the centrifugal force of the rotated outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A chip feed screw 2 is formed such that a herical feed blade 4 attached to a rotary shaft 3 is rotatably disposed in an outer cylinder 5. A rotation transmitting pulley 6 attached to one end of the rotary shaft 3, is transmittedly coupled with a rotationally driving mechanism through a belt. A chip introduction port 8 formed at one end of the outer cylinder 5, is disposed in an oil tank 1, and a chip discharge port 9 is formed at the other end of the outer cylinder 5. The outer cylinder 5 is formed in its peripheral surface with a plurality of longitudinally elongated grooves 10, and is transmittedly coupled with the pulley 6 on the rotary shaft 3 through a reduction gear 12, so that the outer cylinder 5 is transmittedly coupled with the rotationally driving mechanism by means of the belt of the pulley 6. When the outer cylinder 5 is rotated about its axis, oil on chips may be separated from the chips under the centrifugal force of the rotated cylinder 5.</p> |
