<p>PURPOSE:To perform stable asymmetric rolling by calculating forward slip from detection signals of roll speed and speed of rolled material, and controlling roll speed to become preset forward slip. CONSTITUTION:A signal 16U shows exit side material speed VD, and actual forward slip fu is determined by a subtracter 17U and a divider 19U. Actual forward slip 8U is compared with command forward slip 7U by a subtracter 9U, and when absolute value of deviation signal becomes larger than a specified value, speed command 3U of an upper electric motor is adjusted by a proportional control arithmetic unit having dead band 11U through an adder/subtracter 6U to return to correct forward slip. When forward slip exceeds 0, difference between preset forward slip and actual forward slip increases in positive direction. A device 15U that gives alarm through a function arithmetic unit 13U when the difference exceeds a specified value.</p> |
