Deflection fitting

In a deflection fitting for seatbelts having a single-piece base element, the said element is formed from a welded profile steel element with a straight leg and a leg which lies opposite the straight leg and has an arcuate recess. The base element is surrounded completely by a plastic covering which forms, in the region of the straight leg, a widened, burr-free and smooth belt guiding saddle. In the region of the recess, there is a receptacle for an attachment bolt, which receptacle forms a closed eye which is formed on the one hand by the recess and on the other hand by part of the plastic covering.
