PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and installation of an off-shore structure at a deep sea area, by a method wherein a foundation structure and legs rotatably coupled thereto are sunk at an installation place, and after the foundation structure is seated on a sea bottom in a condition in that the legs are erected upright, a super-structure is placed on the upper end parts of the legs. CONSTITUTION:A foundation structure 11 and legs 13 are manufactured in a dock 35, and after the foundation structure and the legs are rotatably intercoupled by means of pins 18, water is poured in the dock 35 to float the foundation structure 11 and the legs 13 on a sea surface L and tug them to an installation area. Sea water ballast W is poured in the foundation structure 11 and the legs 13, the foundation structure 11 is sunk, and the legs 13 are erected upright so that the upper parts thereof are emerged from the sea surface L. Thereafter, the ballast W is further poured to seat the foundation structure 11 on a sea bottom for securing, and thereafter, a super-structure 12 is placed on the upper part of the legs 13 for coupling, and this completes installation of an off-shore structure 10. |
