Feeding a water-water or water-air heat pump from a drinking water network. The invention relates to the operation of water-water or water-air heat pumps by feeding from the drinking water network, saving energy. It comprises a takeoff 1 on the drinking water main 12, a metering assembly 5, and a superpresser pump 6 for reinjection into the main 12. Reinjection will be performed by means of a U-shaped appliance with non-return valve 9 in each U branch. The pressure will close a non-return valve 9 whereas suction and return will open the other according to the direction of flow of water in the main and vice versa. The application of this invention will permit heating of all premises for inhabitation or the like, wherever there is a drinking water network. <IMAGE>
