The flow meter according to the invention comprises a tubular body 1, a turbine 6 mounted so as to rotate inside the body, at least one intake stabiliser 5, and a sensor 23 mounted on the body and arranged so as to supply a signal representing the rotational movement of the turbine 6. It furthermore comprises at least one orientable deflector 28 disposed in a zone of the stabiliser 5 adjacent to the turbine 6, so as to be able to cause a deviation of the fluid flow generating, according to its orientation, an increase or a decrease in the speed of the turbine 6.
