PURPOSE:To independently test only a data memory irrespective of a state of a tag memory of the cache memory device. CONSTITUTION:When it is desired to test independently only a data memory 308, a cache hit signal is always outputted by inputting a forced cache hit signal from the outside. When a read cycle is started, data stored in an entry of the data memory 308 corresponding to an entry address of an inputted address can be read out irrespective of a value of a tag address of the inputted address. |
