The equipment produces a reflector for a parabolic antenna, using a punch (8) working with a vacuum cushion (1). A disc (16) of reflective material is placed on the cushion and drawn down by suction towards the bottom while the edges are clamped round the cushion edges (3). It is then drawn down further by the vacuum in the cushion recess (6), while the fixing devices are released sufficiently to allow the edges to slide over those of the cushion. The punch then presses the disc against the inside surface (2) of the cushion to give it the necessary paraboloid shape.
