<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently perform deodorization treatment even for offensive odor incorporating various kinds of odorant substances by providing the packed layer of a deodorization material supported with sulfuric odorant substance decomposing bacteria cultivated by dimethyl sulfoxide in series with a plurality of stage or more. CONSTITUTION:The culture liquid in which the sulfuric odorant substance decomposing bacteria have been cultivated while keeping DMSO as a substrate is uniformly spread through the water spray pipes 5, 5' on the peat layers 2, 2' in the tank 1 of a solid bed type organism deodorization equipment. Thereafter odorant gas is introduced into the tank 1 through a gas introduction pipe 3. The offensive odor substance such as the sulfuric odorant substance incorporated in the odorant gas is subjected to oxidative destruction with the active organisms held on a peat layer 2 (a first deodorization material packed layer) and then furthermore methyl sulfide, etc., incorporated therein s subjected to oxidative destruction with the active organisms held on the peat layer 2' (a second deodorization material packed layer). In such a way, methyl sulfide can be treated with high destruction capacity in the post stage by mainly performing treatment of hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan, etc., in the pre-stage.</p> |
