This device makes it possible to open and to close the opening of a vehicle door by moving a sliding door (2). It is composed of a fixed guide (20) located in line with the opening and which has an initial portion (26) which curves towards the inside of the vehicle, an arm (8) fixed obliquely so that it overhangs on an internal surface (9) of the door, and a support carriage (12) which slides in the guide and is mounted so that it can pivot on that end of the arm which is opposite the door. <IMAGE> |
