A container (5) has a stopper (1) with a coil-spring (3) fitted into a ring-shaped groove (50), forming a ring-shaped protusion (30), which holds the stopper firmly in place. The stopper (1) closes the container inner space with a seal (4). All parts of the container (5) are pref. of steel. USE/ADVANTAGE - Suitable for granular or dust-producing sample materials, for automatic processing appt., under high temperatures and with automatic opening and closing.
