In a device (1) for transporting piece-goods (10) to a transfer station (lifting element 9) using a drivable endless conveyor belt (2), there is provided on one or both longitudinal sides of the conveyor belt (2) a respective endless guide belt (11, 12) which is arranged axially vertically to said belt (2) and can be driven synchronously therewith in its conveying direction (F). …This configuration ensures that even extremely sensitive piece-goods (10) can be conveyed reliably while at the same time being prevented from leaving the conveyor belt (2) to the side and from being damaged upon contact with the lateral limitation provided by the guide belts (11, 12).
