PURPOSE:To read each image so that an optional mark can be easily imprinted on a recording paper by moving an image reader from the position of a 2nd moving origin detected by a 2nd detecting means and reading the image of the mark which is drawn on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:In the case that the optional mark is drawn on the recording medium 1 with, for example, a fiber-tipped pen, etc., the image reader 27 is moved from the position of the 1st moving origin of the image reader 27 which is detected by a 1st detecting means 25 so as to read the image of the original placed in an area 4a for placing the original. Succeedingly, the image reader 27 is moved from the position of the 2nd moving origin of the image reader 27 which is detected by the 2nd detecting means 26 which is arranged near the boundary part between the area 4a for placing the original and an area 4b for imprinting the mark, and then, the image of the mark which is drawn on the recording medium 1 is read. Thus, each image is read so that the optional mark is easily imprinted on the recording paper. |
