PURPOSE:To prevent a mounting head and others corresponding to a type of product from being wrongly mounted by a method wherein the read identification data of the mounting head and others corresponding to a type of product are compared with stored identification data, and an alarm is announced when the read data are not coincident with the stored data. CONSTITUTION:A type of product is set by inputting data through a key board following notes displayed on a CRT or by reading in the bar code of a circuit board 14. By this setup, arrangement table data corresponding to a type of product are selected by a main control, and a mounting device main body is controlled basing on the selected arrangement table data. Furthermore, at feed hopper 3, a distributor 10, a template 11, and a mounting head 12 are mounted at corresponding locations as their bar codes are read following notes displayed on a CRT. At this point, when the data of the read bar codes are different from the selected arrangement data, it is indicated on a CRT that the read data are not coincident with the selected data, data are required to be inputted again, and a mounting device main body is kept out of operation. |
