<p>PURPOSE:To decrease and purify nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas providing an exhaust passage to discharge exhaust gas generated in a combustion chamber, and arranging a cooling means, a mixer, a catalyic device in order in the exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber is communicated to the outside through an exhaust passage 18. A cooling means 19, a mixer 20, and a catalytic device (NOx reduction catalyst) 21 are arranged in order in the exhaust passage 18. The cooling means 19 is provided with an exhaust gas passage and a cooling water passage. The mixer 20 constitutes a hydrogen feed means 27 to mix hydrogen into the exhaust gas. A control device 25 checks the temperature of exhaust gas flowing in the catalytic device 21 by means of a temperature sensor 25, and controls the opening of a control valve 24 so as to set the temperature to about 100 deg.C. As a result of this, cooling water C matching the opening of the control valve 24 is fed to a cooler 29, and hence the temperature of exhaust gas flowing into the catalytic device 21 is held at about 100 deg.C. In this way, nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas can be decreased for purification of gas.</p> |
