<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost expanded composite graphite sheet having a sufficient electromagnetic shielding effect by forming an expanded graphite sheet stuck to a matrix sheet in a thin-walled layer. CONSTITUTION:In the title manufacture of an expanded composite graphite sheet, an adhesive layer 11 is formed in the surface of a matrix sheet 4 having flexibility, an expanded graphite sheet 5A is lapped over and stuck to the adhesive layer 11 so that a composite lap sheet material 12A is made, and thereafter the layer of the expanded graphite sheet 5A is partially separated and a thin- walled expanded graphite sheet 5B is bonded onto the matrix sheet 4 so that a composite sheet 12B is formed. The composite sheet 12B is rolled to constant thickness and density by a rolling means 7 so that an expanded composite graphite sheet 12C is obtained. Because only the surface layer of the expanded graphite sheet is bonded onto the matrix sheet 4, the expanded graphite sheet 5B becomes thinner.</p> |
