PURPOSE:To eliminate time loss and material loss by forming all the images of an original on transfer paper even though the size of the transfer paper is not same as that of the original when the transfer paper exists in another paper supply part in the case of detecting that the transfer paper does not exist in a selected paper supply part. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 701 is provided with a scanner control part 702 controlling a scanner 102, and an image forming part 703 forming an image forming device by an image forming process. Data under the condition of a variable power rate and a transfer size, etc., is read in by the number of copies set on an operation part main body 401. Furthermore, in the case the transfer paper whose size is the half of the transfer paper is set in another paper supply part, a both-side mode is automatically selected and copying action is continuously performed to the transfer paper whose size is the half of the transfer paper. Even when the transfer paper is used up in the specified paper supply part 119 and the transfer paper having the same size does not exist in another paper supply part, the copying action is continued, so that the time is prevented from being wasted. Then, a copy having a large margin is prevented from being formed. |
