PURPOSE:To wind terminal wires of a workpiece smoothly to facilitate automatic post-treatment by holding the terminals of wire with an auxiliary tool during winding, and separating the tool from the workpiece after the wire terminals are cut. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary winding tool 1, which cooperates with an indexing shaft 20 to grasp a workpiece W, has six wrapping pins 4 to hook the ends of six wires. Six terminal wires, i.e., starting and finish wires, of a three-phase motor are hooked on the six pins to wind the wires. After the winding operation is finished, the auxiliary tool with the workpiece on is removed from the indexing shaft, and the wires are cut between the pins and the workpiece. Then, the workpiece is separated from the auxiliary tool before additional treatments of the terminals. |
